Finding an M715...

While riding their Mustang horses, Coal and Cahlibur, in town my sons spied a Kaiser M715 Jeep Truck over the fence. It had "Huntin' Truck" written all over it!

It took about 6 months to find out who owned the 1 1/4 ton truck, also known as the "Five Quarter". Then one day they found the gates open and talked with the owner of the garage. The M715 belongs to a local rancher. He got the M715 from the Electric Company.

The M715's were produced between 1967 and 1969 mainly for the military. At this point we don't know what year the M715 is and it is colored a dull, drab yellow. All four tires are flat and it doesn't have the stake sides like what is shown in this picture. The fender light is gone and the top is fabricated fiberglass added somewhere through the years.

This Wednesday the guys are meeting with the rancher to buy the M715!
